I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember, kicking a ball with friends and family at the park or in my backyard. When I was five, I joined Winnipeg South End United and four years later World Soccer Academy (WSA) Winnipeg where I spent the next nine years pursuing my dream of playing professional soccer. I was fortunate enough to be able to train with WSA’s semi-professional Premier Development League team when I turned fifteen; playing with older, more talented players had a massive positive impact on my development as a player and I thank all my teammates who’ve helped me immeasurably. I am indebted to all the coaches at WSA and, in particular to Eduardo Badescu who has always believed in me and continued to push me as a young player. William Rosales also played an integral role in my development, and I am grateful to them, too. I am elated to start my professional career with Valour FC.
